1. Stoddard Road Laundry

We decided to swing by Stoddard Road Laundry late at night, and I have to say, we were super impressed with their 24/7 service. It’s great knowing you can do laundry anytime, right?

What really caught our attention was the variety of services they offer. If you’re not feeling like tackling your laundry yourself, they have a wash-and-dry service. They even have a full wash, dry, and fold option.

Many of the customers we talked to really loved how neatly their clothes were folded—definitely a nice touch for those who don’t have much time to spare.

The friendly staff made the whole experience even better. There was always someone around to help us with the machines, which really smoothed things out. 

And with over 60 self-service machines, we didn’t have to wait at all! It’s perfect if you’re in a rush.

However, one customer we chatted with did mention a bit of a downside. She was disappointed because the dryers didn’t fully dry her clothes. So, that’s something they might want to work on.

2. Mint Laundry

Since Mint Laundromat is right in the heart of CBD, it was easy for us to visit them. They’re also super convenient since they’re open 24/7. 

You can take advantage of their self-service setup. They offer a range of washing machines and dryers in different sizes, so you can wash everything from a small load to a big one. 

We were also surprised that our cycles took only about 30 minutes, which is way quicker than the usual laundry services that can drag on.

They’ve gone cashless, so you have to pay with EFTPOS or credit cards. Although it did make things so much smoother for us, some who prefer to pay in cash might find this a bit of a disadvantage.

We also found the free Wi-Fi in the shop handy. It helped us finish up some work and kill time while waiting for our clothes to wash and dry.

The only downside? The air conditioning was off when we were there, and it got pretty hot inside. A little cool air would’ve been a game-changer!

At Fun at Laundromat, they’re all about making laundry a lot more enjoyable. While we were waiting for our laundry to finish, we weren’t bored at all since there was a TV that kept us engaged all throughout the time.

When it comes to washing, they’ve got us covered with a variety of options. We loved that their machines offer a gentle cold wash or a heavy-duty clean, so we had the option to pick what’s best for our fabrics. 

What also caught our attention is how they offer other services like ironing, alterations, and lint removal. It makes them super convenient for anyone looking to take care of all their laundry needs in one spot.

Additionally, anyone can swing by anytime since they’re open 24/7. 

However, most of the customers we talked to also mentioned that the customer service could use a little improvement, which we totally agree with. Their staff didn’t explain how to operate the machines, so we had to figure them out ourselves.

4. Clean ‘n’ Dry Laundromat

Clean ‘n’ Dry Laundromat is modern, well-kept, and has a ton of washers. We loved their speedy gas tumble dryers that could handle any load we threw at them. Honestly, doing laundry there feels pretty good with the clean vibe—definitely makes the whole experience a lot nicer!

The self-service setup is a game changer. We could wash and dry our clothes at our own pace, which is perfect if you’re not into those pick-up and delivery services that other places offer.

The payment system is another highlight. They have this super easy kiosk that makes transactions a breeze, which is awesome for those days when you’re rushing around. 

We just had a bit of an odd experience with their soap vending machine. The token system is a little clunky and can be confusing. This took us way more time than usual to get our soap.

On the bright side, the prices are pretty competitive. They also have options to fit just about any budget!

5. Super Tub Laundromat

At Super Tub Laundromat, you get the freedom to bring your own detergent. This is perfect if you’re particular about brands or want to keep it eco-friendly. 

We loved that they had multiple charging ports and free Wi-Fi. This helped us keep ourselves entertained on our devices while waiting for our laundry to finish.

When we stopped by, their staff were super knowledgeable. They were always ready to jump in whenever we had questions with the machines, which really made our visit smoother.

However, another customer didn’t have a similar experience. He told us about an encounter with a staff who was a little rude when he accidentally put too much soap in the machine. It might’ve just been a bad day for them, but it’s worth mentioning.

Oh, and we noticed someone with a mountain of laundry. Turns out, they run a business and rely on Super Tub’s commercial laundry services for employee uniforms. It’s pretty cool that they cater to both everyday folks and businesses alike!
