The 5 Best Cosmetic Dentists in Hamilton Who’ll Make You Love Your Smile

  • Experience and Expertise: At each clinic, we assessed the number of years each dentist had been practising cosmetic dentistry. To gauge their expertise, we considered the cosmetic procedures they performed regularly.
  • Range of Cosmetic Procedures: We examined the variety of cosmetic treatments each clinic provided, from teeth whitening to smile makeovers. We considered how comprehensive their services were to meet diverse patient needs.
  • Consultation and Patient Communication: At-ease clients matter to us, so we evaluated how each dentist approached initial consultations. We looked for personalised treatment plans and how comfortable patients felt during visits.
  • Pricing and Financing: We looked into the cost transparency and affordability of cosmetic treatments at each practice. We also checked whether flexible payment plans or financing options were available.

Ever caught yourself hiding your smile in a photo? Trust us, we know the feeling – taking a selfie at the Garden Place, only to block the smile with a sticker because it’s just not it.

You don’t have to live with a smile that doesn’t make you shine. To bring back that confidence, we made sure to find cosmetic dentists who can do the magic.

Every pick delivers solid results that we’re sure you’ll thank the Gods for (and maybe us too at a later time!). Check our list out so you only work with the city’s best pros.

Hamilton Dental Centre offers a wide range of cosmetic procedures, making them an easy go-to spot for various needs. They also do complex work like dental implants for more extensive smile makeovers.

We were impressed with their state-of-the-art facilities, which include distraction aids like TVs above dental chairs.

What’s even better for anxious patients is their friendly and warm attitude while explaining procedures in detail. Many said they felt more at ease because of the trust they built with the dentists.

With their reputation, though, it’s not surprising that services are pricier than average. Fortunately, they offer 12 to 18 months of interest-free payments via Q-Card. They also offer flexible payment methods through Visa, Mastercard, and Farmers Finance Cards.

Another thing we love is the 5-year guarantee they offer on porcelain crowns. On top of this, they offer up to a year of guarantee on fillings.

Just take note that you should attend regular check-ups and hygiene appointments to avoid voiding the guarantees!

  • Comprehensive range of cosmetic services
  • Pain-free experience
  • Highly skilled dentists with continuous training
  • TVs above dental chairs
  • Flexible payment and financing options
  • 5-year guaranteed on crowns
  • Up to 12 months guarantee on fillings

Cons

  • Relatively pricier
  • Minor reports of recommending unnecessary treatments

Super fun appointments

“I love these guys so much! super fun appointments (I have had appointments with Bashar who is super bubbly and funny) and very thorough with what they do. Receptionists as well as the dental assistants are lovely and just makes the whole experience much more pleasant. Also if you want to see a hygienist for a deep clean this is the place to go. My teeth have never looked so great. Highly recommend!”

River Road Dental Centre is a locally owned family practice, with a relaxed setting that easily puts clients at ease. But it’s not just the comfortable feeling that makes them stand out – it’s their quality services at fair rates too.

For starters, they cover a wide range of offerings. They can do everything, from custom-designed smile makeovers to little jobs like discoloration, chips, and gaps.

When we looked at the prices, they fall within the city’s range. In fact, some of the clients we talked to found some of the services cheaper compared to other clinics.

While the process and results are up to our standards, we did encounter complaints about the dentist’s attitude. One client revealed that their dentist had poor bedside manners and lacked professional courtesy. We’d love to see improvements in this area.

But for now, we also can’t deny how highly skilled their professionals are – they have 30 years of combined experience and have advantage training from UCLA.

Pros

  • Locally owned family practice
  • Advanced cosmetic dentistry options
  • Custom-designed smile makeovers
  • Over 30 years of combined experience
  • Highly skilled and educated practitioners
  • Many on-site parking options

Cons

  • Minor reports of poor bedside manner
  • Lacks professional courtesy in some cases

Highly supportive team

“I have had trouble with my teeth for years. Coming to River road Dental Centre has been a great experience. The advice given was clear and understandable, and the treatments were tolerable for a guy that doesn’t deal with pain well. I highly recommend Amir and his supportive Team.”

Like most clinics in Hamilton, Victoria Dentists also offer a comprehensive range of services. But beyond the range of offerings, it’s the quality of experience that we really love here.

Their staff are very patient-centred in various ways. For starters, consultations are in-depth, where questions are answered thoroughly in an approach that’s never rushed. They’re also amazing at dealing with dental anxiety, despite its clinical setting.

We loved how natural-looking the results are. According to clients, the teeth feel strong and last long too.

We also love how accessible the treatments are. They offer flexible financing through Q-Card, with 12 to 18 months of interest-free financing.

If there’s one area of improvement, it has to be the front desk staff experience. Don’t get us wrong – they’re generally warm on most occasions. However, they tend to feel dismissive during peak hours in the afternoon.

A little more consistency will be appreciated.

Pros

  • Wide range of services
  • Offers emergency dental services
  • Addresses gum health in services
  • Experienced and welcoming staff
  • 12 to 18 months of interest-free financing
  • Competitive rates

Cons

  • Front desk experience can be inconsistent
  • Limited aftercare support

Makes visit super comfortable

“I have never felt more relaxed in a dentist chair than I did today for my scale and polish. Evelyn has a kind and welcoming manner. I’m an anxious patient, but Evelyn explained exactly what she was doing the whole time and chatted to me through-out, making my visit super comfortable. Although she was gentle in tone, she got into all the nooks and crannies and did a thorough job on my teeth. I won’t go anywhere else after today.”

Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Walking into Stonehill Dental, we were immediately impressed with how modern and spotless their space was. It was so relaxing that it was able to ease any anxiety, further solidified by their warm and welcoming staff.

Patients can access a full suite of services under one roof, including dental bonding, porcelain veneers, and whitening. The results are excellent and look natural, and the clients we interviewed were all satisfied with the outcomes.

Unfortunately, while we find them competitively priced, they don’t bill insurance providers directly. For some families attending first-time visits, this can mean shelling out an upfront bill of over $1,000.

Fortunately, you can’t put a price on good services. Out of the many we’ve reviewed, they’re among the most thorough when it comes to consultations. They review medical histories, sending appointment reminders, and giving quick callbacks.

Pros

  • Clean and modern environment
  • Full suite of cosmetic treatments
  • Consistently punctual appointments
  • Comprehensive first-time patient evaluation
  • Personalised treatment plans
  • Quick appointment callbacks and reminders
  • Competitive pricing

Cons

  • No direct billing to insurance
  • Higher upfront costs for new patients

Friendly and professional

“I recently had an appointment at this dental clinic, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and professional, and the clinic was spotless. The dentist was highly skilled and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. This was my first time here, and I am extremely satisfied. Highly recommend!”

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Sunday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

City Smile Dental won our favour when it comes to accessibility. Located on Anglesea Street, the clinic is very easy to reach.

On top of that, they’re open 7 days a week and even deal with late–night appointments. With after-hours availability, reaching them for any follow-ups is fast and seamless.

The clinic offers a broad range of services all under one roof. This includes tooth contouring, crowns, bridges, and dentures. However, for more complex cases and surgeries, they refer patients to trusted dental surgeons.

If there’s a downside though, it’s their high fees, even for prescriptions. Fortunately, clients can use Zip Finance or Q-Card to split bills or pay installments. They also accept all major credit cards as payment methods.

Another solid offering is their dental sedation, which according to clients, has helped them relax better during procedures.

  • Same-day emergency care
  • Full range of cosmetic services
  • Offers dental sedation
  • Flexible payment options
  • Offers in-house installment plans

Quick dental help

“Took our 3-year-old to City Smile Dental after he knocked his front teeth loose at the playground. They were very helpful over the phone and once we got there, they helped us quickly. The dentist was lovely and made my son feel at ease. He was so gentle with him and explained everything to us as he worked on him. Absolutely lovely!”

Pleasant dental experience

“Very professional and super fast from calling up the arvo before to make an appointment to get a tooth removed to less then 12hours later the tooth was removed. The dentist was very good with the numbing and made the experience as pleasant as possible. Will be going back! And would highly recommend their dental clinic.”
