Hamilton Dental Centre offers a wide range of cosmetic procedures, making them an easy go-to spot for various needs. They also do complex work like dental implants for more extensive smile makeovers.

We were impressed with their state-of-the-art facilities, which include distraction aids like TVs above dental chairs. 

What’s even better for anxious patients is their friendly and warm attitude while explaining procedures in detail. Many said they felt more at ease because of the trust they built with the dentists.

With their reputation, though, it’s not surprising that services are pricier than average. Fortunately, they offer 12 to 18 months of interest-free payments via Q-Card. They also offer flexible payment methods through Visa, Mastercard, and Farmers Finance Cards.

Another thing we love is the 5-year guarantee they offer on porcelain crowns. On top of this, they offer up to a year of guarantee on fillings. 

Just take note that you should attend regular check-ups and hygiene appointments to avoid voiding the guarantees!

2. River Road Dental Centre

River Road Dental Centre is a locally owned family practice, with a relaxed setting that easily puts clients at ease. But it’s not just the comfortable feeling that makes them stand out – it’s their quality services at fair rates too.

For starters, they cover a wide range of offerings. They can do everything, from custom-designed smile makeovers to little jobs like discoloration, chips, and gaps. 

When we looked at the prices, they fall within the city’s range. In fact, some of the clients we talked to found some of the services cheaper compared to other clinics.

While the process and results are up to our standards, we did encounter complaints about the dentist’s attitude. One client revealed that their dentist had poor bedside manners and lacked professional courtesy. We’d love to see improvements in this area. 

But for now, we also can’t deny how highly skilled their professionals are – they have 30 years of combined experience and have advantage training from UCLA.

3. Victoria Dentists

Like most clinics in Hamilton, Victoria Dentists also offer a comprehensive range of services. But beyond the range of offerings, it’s the quality of experience that we really love here.

Their staff are very patient-centred in various ways. For starters, consultations are in-depth, where questions are answered thoroughly in an approach that’s never rushed. They’re also amazing at dealing with dental anxiety, despite its clinical setting.

We loved how natural-looking the results are. According to clients, the teeth feel strong and last long too. 

We also love how accessible the treatments are. They offer flexible financing through Q-Card, with 12 to 18 months of interest-free financing.

If there’s one area of improvement, it has to be the front desk staff experience. Don’t get us wrong – they’re generally warm on most occasions. However, they tend to feel dismissive during peak hours in the afternoon.

A little more consistency will be appreciated.

4. Stonehill Dental

Walking into Stonehill Dental, we were immediately impressed with how modern and spotless their space was. It was so relaxing that it was able to ease any anxiety, further solidified by their warm and welcoming staff.

Patients can access a full suite of services under one roof, including dental bonding, porcelain veneers, and whitening. The results are excellent and look natural, and the clients we interviewed were all satisfied with the outcomes.

Unfortunately, while we find them competitively priced, they don’t bill insurance providers directly. For some families attending first-time visits, this can mean shelling out an upfront bill of over $1,000.

Fortunately, you can’t put a price on good services. Out of the many we’ve reviewed, they’re among the most thorough when it comes to consultations. They review medical histories, sending appointment reminders, and giving quick callbacks.

City Smile Dental won our favour when it comes to accessibility. Located on Anglesea Street, the clinic is very easy to reach. 

On top of that, they’re open 7 days a week and even deal with late–night appointments. With after-hours availability, reaching them for any follow-ups is fast and seamless.

The clinic offers a broad range of services all under one roof. This includes tooth contouring, crowns, bridges, and dentures. However, for more complex cases and surgeries, they refer patients to trusted dental surgeons.

If there’s a downside though, it’s their high fees, even for prescriptions. Fortunately, clients can use Zip Finance or Q-Card to split bills or pay installments. They also accept all major credit cards as payment methods.

Another solid offering is their dental sedation, which according to clients, has helped them relax better during procedures.
