What made Wash Rite stand out to our team was their special soap. It’s not your usual cleaner. They made the soap themselves, and it digs deep into the wood to get rid of mould and algae.

Instead of blasting the deck with high-pressure water, they use this soap and let it sit for about 20 minutes. This helps break down the grime gently without messing up the timber fibres. It’s nice if you have a deck made from delicate wood.

One thing to keep in mind is that after cleaning, you’ll want to wait 3 to 5 days before staining or oiling the deck. That drying time might be a bit annoying if you’re in a rush.
