1. The Lash & Beauty Room

We absolutely adore the technicians at Lash & Beauty Room. They’re not only skilled but also incredibly helpful when it comes to recommending the right lash style. 

Lisa, one of the main lash techs, deserves a special shout-out. She’s exceptionally gentle when glueing the lashes to the eyelid, and clients love that she double-checks the symmetry of the lashes so everything comes out looking perfect.

For those who prefer a lighter look, we recommend their light volume lashes. They’re full enough to enhance your eyes but are not over the top.

We also love their “wet look” eyelashes. They offer just the right mix of subtle and dramatic, with small lash spikes that make your eyes appear fuller and darker. 

The only downside? It’s by appointment only. So, if you’re in a hurry to get your lashes done, you’ll have to look elsewhere.

2. Majestic Nails & Beauty

Majestic Nails & Beauty has been a go-to spot for eyelash extensions in Tauranga, thanks to their exceptional service. 

We like the precise work of their lash aestheticians; the lashes we’ve seen always look flawless without appearing overdone. We love how they have different volume levels too—from hybrid to medium volume. 

Even with how precise and meticulous they are with the application, they’re still pretty quick. Some customers we talked to mentioned that the application of their classic full set was finished within 30 minutes, perfect for those short on time.

We also love how they give clients full control over how dramatic their lashes will look on them. They even take care of curling them for you, saving you the time of getting all dolled up yourself. 

When we talked to regulars, they mentioned loving the infill option Majestic offers after two weeks and three weeks. We also think this service is incredibly convenient if you want to maintain your lashes without them looking sparse.

The only thing we don’t like is that it’s a hassle to book appointments with them. They don’t always have open slots available for lash extensions because doing nails here is their main focus.

3. BeautBoutique

BeautBoutique stood out to us for their hybrid eyelash sets. Many people told us it’s the perfect middle ground, offering more volume than their classic lashes but still looking relatively natural. 

We’re also big fans of their wispy lash extensions. They’re more textured and noticeable, not just because of the volume but also because of the perfect doll-like look. It’s a trendier option for those who want something more unique and fashionable.

In addition to these, we love that BeautBoutique’s lash technicians make sure every lash is perfectly placed on your eyelid. 

We appreciate their focus on precision, as it’s what makes their lashes look so polished and natural. Several people also mentioned that their lash technicians are very gentle during the application, which shows that they genuinely care about the comfort of their customers. 

On the downside, their Mega Volume lashes (while really stunning) are a bit too heavy. Although this is to be expected because of the volume, some clients said the lashes were heavier than the ones they get from other salons, and they were relieved when they finally removed them.

4. Enaid Beauty

We love Enaid Beauty’s lash variety. From classic full sets to full volume fills, whatever look you desire, they can tailor your lashes to match. 

Many clients we talked to adore the light volume fill for its natural look, while others can’t get enough of the dramatic full volume set.

What really impressed us, though, is how relaxing and professional the application process is. Customers told us they often fall asleep during their appointments because the staff’s gentle touch is so soothing. 

We also appreciate that they ensure each lash is perfectly placed, creating a flawless finish that lasts. People told us the lashes feel light and natural, and they often forget they’re wearing them until compliments roll in.

However, the price can be on the higher side, especially for the more voluminous options. We do find them worth investment, though.

5. Lashed by Ginnii

Lashed by Ginni often came up in conversations when we were searching for good eyelash extension places in Tauranga, and we can see why after looking into them.

First off, the variety of options is impressive. Their classic lash offers understated elegance. They have enough volume to really define the eyes without looking clumpy, perfect if you’re looking to get an everyday, natural look.

If you want something that’s more over the top, then you’ll love the volume lashes. They’re fuller and a lot longer, giving your eyes a more dramatic look. 

The variety aside, it was Ginni’s personalised approach that really made us fall in love with her service. She really takes the time to understand what you want, and customers really appreciate how she recommends lashes that suit their eye shape perfectly. 

Plus, if you’re not happy with the result, she’s always ready to make adjustments.

That said, a few customers did complain about the long wait times for appointments, which were often an hour or more. This is mainly because Ginni is the only one handling the appointments.
