Local Beauties Secretly Love These 5 Best Facial Clinics in Queenstown
If there’s one thing Queenstown locals know (besides knowing where to find the kind of flat white you’d kill for), it’s skincare – oh, scratch that – good skincare. While others are busy snapping pics at Lake Wakatipu, others are sneaking off for their glow-ups.
I’m definitely into both, but if you’re having trouble finding a clinic spot that you can stick to in the long run – don’t fret. While I have a few personal faves, I still chatted with locals to find under-the-radar spots that are worth the splurge.
After clinic visits, interviews, and simply lounging in the waiting area to observe if the front desk gals aren’t frowning, I finally have the best list. Check out the best facial clinics in Queenstown here!
How much do facials cost in Queenstown?
1. The Well Spa Queenstown

We value the client experience a lot, and so we’re really happy to see how welcoming this spa is. Even the staff at the reception have a nice, friendly energy, which makes inquiries and on-site appointment checking a breeze.
Another point that earned marks from us is the quality of their facial services. If we have to pick the best, it’ll be their signature Manuka Honey facial. It’s a hydrating solution that’s paired with a head and shoulder massage.
We also like that they offer a couple’s package. This one includes a 60-minute massage and a 30-minute facial for only $265. As with their other services, including individual treatments, we find the prices reasonable and transparent.
Their booking system is super easy to use as well. What makes it even better is that the staff follow up with the client for reminders. It’s a small thing, but one that really completes the experience.
The only issue, which actually affected our overall enjoyment, is that parking is limited in the area. While there’s paid street parking, the spot tends to fill up quickly – arriving early or using public transit is recommended at these times.
Very professional and well-skilled
“My girlfriend and I visited Well Spa today for a facial and a massage and were very impressed. From the staff at reception Steff to the therapists Severine and Claire they were all very professional and well skilled in their fields. We would both recommend the salon and we hope to rebook on our return to Queenstown one day.”

Amazing and comfortable facials
Jess was absolutely lovely! I had an amazing massage and facial, I was so comfortable and nearly fell asleep. She’s done such an amazing job and I’m so happy to come back here every time I visit! Thanks a lot Jess for your amazing work!“”

2. Body Sanctum Massage & Day Spa

We loved that Body Sanctum offers a well-curated range of facials. It’s also not worth noting how flexible and accommodating their team is. For instance, they can easily switch massage types to a pregnancy-safe option for specific clients.
Booking for families and couples is also a breeze, with how responsive they are.
We absolutely adore their Spa & Wine Tour Combo. This is a full-day experience that starts with a 90-minute spa treatment, followed by a wine tour with tasting, lunch, and an underground cave visit.
It’s nothing like we’ve seen before. For $499 per person, it’s an ideal package to get for families or groups who want to bond together.
Apart from the combos, we also like their packages, like the A Little Peace & Quiet option. This one combines a 60-minute massage and a 60-minute facial for $289. We like the value for money that clients get through this option.
According to the clients, the facials help them achieve a radiant glow with long-lasting results. Plus, the massage was as comfortable as you can imagine.
That said, we noted a few inconsistencies when it comes to their services. As this problem isn’t reserved for facials alone, clients booking combo/packages may find that certain services are lacking in some areas.
Professional and amazing
“My Husband and I enjoyed a couples massage and facial here before doing the combo wine tour package. It was a great experience to do both in one day. The ladies were professional and did an amazing job, a very relaxing experience.”

The perfect experience
“The relaxing massage and facial were exactly what I needed after 3 weeks of traveling in Australia and New Zealand. Sari is an amazing and very professional masseuse. It was the perfect experience. I have had many massages, but this one was definitely the BEST!!”

3. Moss Spa

Moss Spa earned a spot in this list with their comprehensive and customised facial services. Among their best-sellers, we find their 60-minute Collagen Renewal facial to be a standout choice for immediate firming effects.
While it’s relatively more expensive at $200, the value for money is actually pretty solid. This option includes thoughtful touches such as warm towels, gentle exfoliation, and a face massage, making it a well-rounded experience.
They also offer a 30-minute facial session, which is ideal for clients on the move (maybe tourists or clients who are short on time).
We’re happy to note that there are various add-on services too, including a deep tissue massage and foot therapy. This makes it easy for guests to bundle various services together, without spending long session times.
Consistency in services is also strong. While availability is a frequent issue with other clinics, Moss Spa can actually accommodate last-minute bookings. Still, the walk-in experience may vary.
The results are great overall, but a few clients noted that while the spa uses organic products, the results don’t always last long for sensitive skin. It’s important to note, though, that outcomes vary depending on the skin condition.
Lovely bath, massage, facial, and pedicure
“Had a beautiful experience at the spa and can’t wait to come back. Booked the ultimate relaxation package, and it was so worth it. Bath, massage, facial and pedicure were all so lovely. Reed was great, highly recommend!”

4. The House of Beauty Therapy

The House of Beauty Therapy’s range of advanced and basic facials is a strong factor. As per the regulars we interviewed, their treatments deliver solid results. Many highlighted how plump and radiant their skin felt after treatments.
Some of the options we liked include their Platinum facial that uses haritaki superfruit and polysaccharides for skin firming. Their Million Dollar facial is best for well-rounded results, as it combines dermaplaning, microneedling, and a hyaluronic acid mask.
Beyond these options, they also won our favour with their customised facials. This allows clients to choose their own peels, machines, and specialty products. It’s a good value for money as well, at $250 for 90 minutes.
Speaking of value, there are also various add-ons to elevate the experience, including high-frequency and collagen eye masks. During promo periods (and once you’re a regular), you may also grab their Buy 5 Get 1 Free package deal.
The only downside we see here is that they may not be the best choice if you want a one-stop spa. This is because some of their services (particularly for eyebrows) were inconsistent in quality.
Other than this, we find them a great choice for effective facials.
Lovely, relaxed setting
“I had an amazing experience at House of Beauty with a pedicure with gel and an hour long facial WOW 🤩 absolute bliss, Very professional in a lovey relaxed setting. Can highly recommend.”

Phenomenal and thoughtful experience
“I’ve had my brows tinted and shaped with house of beauty and it’s always amazing, but this week I treated myself to the Million Dollar Facial with Laura, and it was phenomenal! Laura was so kind, thoughtful and informed, the products were very high quality and my skin feels brand new. Highly recommend!”

5. Caci Queenstown

According to the clients we’ve interviewed, Caci delivers consistently good service. The treatments are personalised, so clients can really go for targeted treatments for specific needs and goals.
Among their offerings, we liked the Skinsmiths B12 Hydrating Facial. This one combines steam exfoliation, a deeply hydrating mask, and a neck and shoulder massage. It’s ideal for dry and stressed skin, perfect for busy individuals.
For a more elevated routine, we find their Caci Signature Laser Facial to be a great option. With thermal laser and chemical exfoliation, it’s a great option for clients for fine lines, pigmentation, and dullness.
We find their therapists to be skilled and personable too. According to the clients, the skin assessment is in-depth. They even provide thoughtful product recommendations to create a home care routine after the treatment.
Drawback? Compared to other luxury spas, the sessions here are quite short (only 30 minutes). While efficient and effective, those looking for spa-style pampering may find it a little lacking.
Amazing facial service
“Took a little bit of self care today & id just like to thank Tanika for an amazing facial service. I’ve come away feeling amazing (for 5 years and counting now). If your looking for a facial that hits all the right places and right for your skin your girl and Caci clinic in Queenstown is the place to go. The staff are so friendly & welcome. Highly recommended ❤️”
