One of my favourite flower delivery shops in Napier is The Village Florist because of their friendly and responsive customer service and talented floral designer, Rhonda Claypole.
Rhonda has been in the flower business for over 30 years, and her expertise really shines whenever I order bouquets for my mother on Mother’s Day or for my date. Their main speciality, though, is wedding floral displays.
Rhonda’s knack for choosing the perfect flowers for different women impresses me (I go on a lot of dates). Her team’s attention to detail and openness to feedback makes all the difference.
Even with their impeccable customer service, I only try to order from The Village Florist if I’m taking my date out nearby.
Their service coverage isn’t super wide, plus the delivery fees aren’t the cheapest around town, but I don’t mind paying the extra fees each time.

A friend of mine wanted to get his girlfriend a bouquet of flowers as a housewarming gift after she moved from Napier to Hastings. When I asked about which flower delivery service he worked with to pull off the surprise, he pointed me towards Daisy Chain Florist.
Though I usually prefer inspecting bouquets in-store, this shop’s online inventory impressed me. With over 40 years of experience, founder Annabelle’s talent shines in every arrangement, like the In The Pink bouquet my friend ordered.
Priced at $80, it featured fresh and lush pink roses and lilies, as showcased in the pre-delivery photos.
It did take a bit of time to process the order, which fortunately wasn’t a big issue for my friend. However, he was a tad disappointed with the flowers being slightly stale compared to the photos he saw.
Surprisingly, his girlfriend didn’t seem to mind the slight imperfection.

One of my top recommendations for flower delivery services in Napier that serves rural areas is beauKayes Florist. I was in charge of sending flower arrangements to an event in Te Awanga, and the service I received was noteworthy.
The BeauKayes team promptly responded to my initial inquiries. While their website showcased impressive arrangements, I sought a custom one and contacted them directly to inquire.
I ended up visiting their physical store to discuss the arrangements and delivery. I was particularly impressed that they could deliver orchid displays, so I opted for that. I also included gift items like chocolate and scented candles.
Due to the rural delivery location, fees were higher and the delivery took longer than anticipated due to weekend cutoffs at 9:30 am.
However, the flowers arrived fresh and well-handled, thanks to their specialised flower courier, ensuring even delicate species like orchids are cared for.

One of the few things I love most about Bloom Bouquets is that their floral arrangements are elegant and beautifully arranged in boxes or baskets.
I once ordered fresh flowers from them for my mother on her birthday, and although they were expensive, my mother loved the arrangement.
I found it particularly unique that they use carriers, boxes, or baskets to carry bouquets. They also offer regular wrapping paper, but the unique options were a nice touch.
Moreover, they offer flower subscriptions for monthly flower deliveries to designated recipients. I booked a subscription for my mother a few weeks ago because she loved the ones I first got her for her birthday (an extra $75 a month, but it’s worth it).
I did notice, however, that the shop doesn’t offer delivery services to some rural areas surrounding Napier. This could be a problem for some people, so take note!

For foliage lovers, consider a bouquet from Madisons. While primarily a furniture store, their Napier flower delivery service stands out for its unique foliage technique.
Their bouquet selection blends roses, tulips, posies, and lush green plants like eucalyptus, ferns, and herbs such as rosemary. Their popular Wild Bouquet, my personal favourite, comes at a hefty price tag of $120.
The flower collection at Madisons is one of the priciest I’ve seen, so I was a little sceptical since they only operate the flower shop online. I only had photos to rely on, but at least the flowers I ordered turned out just like the photos when I received them.
In addition to flowers, you can also include luxury gifts like Embodyme body oils, Rampal Latour French soap, and George & Edi candles. While I didn’t include gifts due to budget constraints, it’s great to know they offer such options!
