Its sleek and lightweight frame made it portable and easy to carry around. The keyboard was backlit and comfortable to type on, and the touchpad had no responsive delays.

We also liked that the design felt sturdy and high-end. However, due to the 16-inch display, some might find it a bit bulky for backpacks or carrying cases.
Although the CPU and GPU parameters of this laptop are noticeably weaker than other laptops in this price range, we thought the main appeal of the HP Spectre x360 16-f2008tx was the multi-touch IPS LCD screen, which may appeal to creative professionals.
The display had sharp visuals and deep, rich colours and the colour accuracy was excellent—making it a superb choice for creative professionals who require precise colour reproduction.
Among extra features, we found that the bundled HP Tilt Pen enhanced the overall writing and drawing experience—again perfect for designers, artists, or those who like taking handwritten notes.
As for performance, we thought this laptop handled multitasking and demanding applications smoothly during our testing. The 1TB SSD ensured speedy boot times and quick file transfers.
Additionally, during our mixed usage test, the battery life lasted around 10 hours on a single charge.
Despite the many positives, though, we didn’t like that the laptop tended to heat up under heavy load. It was uncomfortable while we were using it on our laps.

Anyway, let’s start with the display: we felt it lacked screen brightness when we used the laptop outdoors during the day. On the other hand, the battery life easily lasted us our entire workday while we browsed the web, streamed music, and edited documents.
However, we did note that the battery performance took a hit during heavy-duty tasks like gaming. Additionally, we found that the laptop’s AMD Radeon Graphics handled casual gaming decently but struggled with more graphically demanding games.
