Never thought I’d be the bloke writing about eyelashes, but I think I’ve sat through enough of my partner’s lash disasters to earn some kind of honorary degree in the subject.

One time, the technician had applied so much glue that her eyes were swollen for days. I still remember driving to three different pharmacies at 10 PM while she sat in the passenger seat with cucumber slices balanced on her eyes.

After watching her spend hundreds on disappointing treatments, I asked the rest of the Top Reviews writing team to help me pile a list of the places that wouldn’t make her lashes look like spider legs. So, here are the places we found. 

1. Lashury

Lashury is a go-to for Keratin Lash Lift and Tint treatments. We like that your natural lashes end up looking longer and thicker, and the aftercare is simple and quick.

But we really love that Lashury has a special promotion for new clients: you can book a Keratin Lash Lift and Tint for $89 and receive a free lash tint session. 

What really sets Lashury apart though is their specialised lash lift reversal service. If you’re not happy with a previous lift—whether you want to return your lashes to their natural state or have the lift redone properly—the team here can help.

People who had a bad lash lift elsewhere, told us Lashury not only reversed it safely but gave them the best lift they’ve ever had. Others appreciated that the stylists were so gentle and the results lasted for weeks.

However, no cancellations or changes are allowed within 24 hours. The salon is also not a suitable place for kids, so they ask that you don’t bring children with you—something that might be inconvenient for parents.

2. GET IT LASH

We love how upfront GET IT LASH is about their prices. The combo treatment is $75 (or $60 if you just want the keratin lift), which is really reasonable for Auckland. 

The whole process takes about 75 minutes, and many appreciated that the appointment never felt rushed. 

We like how the technician starts by checking out your natural lashes and explaining every step along the way. We were especially impressed by how carefully they applied the silicone shields—apparently, getting the right size is key to getting that perfect curl. 

Honestly, in all the before and afters we’ve seen, the keratin has brought many people’s lashes back from the dead—giving them a healthy shine. 

Now, while the lash service itself was top-notch, the waiting area is pretty basic—don’t expect a luxe lounge. Also, while the aftercare instructions were explained well, many would have liked a written handout to take home, just in case they forgot something.

3. Hannah Lash and Beauty

Hannah Lash and Beauty is calm and uncluttered; it’s a refreshing change from some of the busier beauty bars out there—everything about the studio seems carefully designed to help you relax.

The staff greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism. We really appreciated how open they were about their keratin lash lift process. There was no pressure to book anything on the spot—just friendly, knowledgeable advice.

Pricing is refreshingly clear: $65 for a basic lash lift, and $70 if you want to add a tint. The results were also really impressive. They delivered natural-looking lashes with just the right amount of flare. 

That said, the studio’s policies did give us a bit of pause. Payment is required upfront, even before your appointment starts. Their no-refund policy is also pretty firm—no exceptions, which seems a bit harsh. 

They do offer a one-time emergency cancellation allowance, but if you have to cancel late again, you’ll lose a 50% non-refundable deposit for future bookings. That feels a little steep, even if we understand why they have the rule.

4. Lash & Brow Bar – Lash Educator

It’s safe to say Lash & Brow Bar is doing things a little differently. Not only do they offer beauty services, but they’re also an education hub for lash professionals.

After our visit, we left with a whole new appreciation for how much goes into these treatments. Their lash lift course comes with lifetime access to regularly updated content that’s meant to feel like you’re right there in the salon doing lashes with them. 

Speaking of lashes, one thing we loved right away was their Brow Lamination & Lash Lift Combo. For $150, you get both services in a single 75-minute appointment. 

They use InLei products (a big plus if you’re picky about quality), and the brow mapping step means your brows actually end up symmetrical.

That said, the waiting area can get a bit crowded. We started to feel a little too much like sardines while waiting.

5. Kiwi Lash N Brow Takapuna

Kiwi Lash N Brow’s Keratin Lash Lift works for everyone. Whether your lashes are long or a bit stubborn, the treatment delivers instant length and a gorgeous curl.

One of the things we appreciate most is how long the results last—usually around 8 weeks. We’re also big fans of the instant volume you get, all without the daily hassle (and occasional pinching!) of a lash curler. 

For $99, you get a lash lift alone. But if you really want your eyes to stand out, get the tint added. People told us they get compliments all the time. 

Plus, Kiwi Lash N Brow accepts Afterpay, which is super helpful if you want to spread out your payments and treat yourself without stress. 

The only real downside? Appointments are a must, and their weekend and evening slots (3–9 pm) are incredibly popular—sometimes booking out weeks in advance.
