You know, in my day, the most adventurous thing women did with their eyelashes was try not to poke themselves in the eye. But you know, the times change, and so do beauty rituals.

Seeing her lashes got me thinking about what people go through just to find a good lash place. So the rest of the Top Reviews writing team and I checked out the best lash lift services in Tauranga to make sure no one else shows up to brunch with lashes like that.

The Lash & Beauty Room is the kind of place we almost hesitated to share—it’s tucked away in a charming back house—where people go in needing a refresh and leave with standout lashes. 

We love how the entire experience is tailored and private; it’s by appointment only, so you never feel rushed. 

Booking is refreshingly easy too—just send a quick text and you’ll get a speedy, friendly reply. If only every beauty appointment was this simple to arrange! 

Their signature Lash Lift & Tint, at just $80, is a true steal in our book. They give your natural lashes a gorgeous boost—no curler, and no fuss. 

If you want that extra wow factor, you can add a tint for a little more drama. 

The only thing to be aware of is the 50% deposit, which you lose if you cancel within 24 hours or don’t show up. It’s a bit of a pain if you ask us.

Lumee Lash Studio’s Lash Lift & Tint delivers effortlessly curled lashes that last a solid 8 weeks. Many admitted they wondered why they ever bothered with mascara in the first place. 

What really stands out to us is how much their lift and tint give your lashes so much depth. Every pair of lashes we saw was influencer-worthy—we have to say waking up with lashes that look that good is like the ultimate beauty hack.

The complimentary tint is just the cherry on top—no more smudging, no more raccoon eyes, just pure lash perfection.

We’re also big fans of how refreshing the staff is. They’re warm and professional. We appreciate how they answer any concerns you may have about the lash lift before beginning. 

The only thing we’d caution about is that if you have sensitive eyes, you might feel a little tingle during the treatment because of the lash setting lotion they use (we recommend bringing some tissues just in case you get a bit misty-eyed.)

Breathe Salon and Spa’s  V.I.P Client program caught our eye. Their permanent discounts on all services—hair, nails, beauty, you name it—make it the best loyalty perk. 

Their eyelash volume lift with tint is $105, while a lift alone is $87. There’s also a $145 eyelash volume lift, tint, and brow shape and tint package. We think it’s a pretty great deal if you want the whole “I woke up like this” vibe.

What really won us over, though, was the level of customer care. Customers who had a minor issue with their lash lift said the team fixed it immediately—no fuss at all.

We also really appreciated how the staff makes you feel cared for, by answering any concerns you have. We were also impressed by how accommodating the team was with walk-ins. 

That said, the waiting area does get a little crowded during the afternoon. So if you’re hoping for a solo zen moment, be prepared to be a little squished.

Room of Beauty is a boutique sanctuary for anyone serious about their lashes and brows. 

Many people appreciate how their services are by appointment only, making the experience feel exclusive and tailored. We like how they’re flexible with their appointments too, which is a nice touch for those of us with busy schedules. 

Every appointment includes a complimentary lash or brow conditioning treatment, which many rave about. Honestly, we can’t blame them because of how nourishing the treatment is for the lashes.

Pricing is refreshingly straightforward too: Lash Lift + Tint for $99, add a brow tint and shape for $120. If you want to treat yourself, the Luxe Lash & Brow Combo at $170 is a total indulgence. It already includes lash lift, tint, brow lamination, and brow tint/shape. 

The only real caveat is Room of Beauty’s strict cancellation policy—a 50% fee if you cancel, so we’d definitely recommend planning ahead to avoid any last-minute fees.

Enaid Beauty is one of those places that truly lives up to the hype for anyone wanting effortlessly gorgeous lashes. 

We love how they focus on making your natural lashes the star of the show, with their Lash Lift and Lash Lift + Tint treatments. Both of which are expertly performed and tailored to your desired look.

Whether you want a subtle curl or a bold, darkened finish, Enaid Beauty delivers. From what we’ve seen, we really like how every one of the lashes has that subtle arch that makes the eyes look “refreshed”.

Others appreciate how the added tint makes their lashes look fuller and more defined for weeks—and we have to agree that the tint did make a difference in the lashes we saw.

The only thing to keep in mind is that if your lashes are very short or sparse, the results might be more subtle than dramatic. So if you’re hoping for super-voluminous, dramatic lashes, you might not get that wow factor.
