“Best manicure I’ve ever had, Bonnie has the ideal combo of technical skill and attention to detail. I did a simple solid color gel manicure but let me tell you, the perfectly clean edges, careful shaping, and spectacular hand massage made it a 10/10. Verdo Parnell is known for being a finalist in the TOP SHOP Awards and an official nail partner for New Zealand Fashion Week. And from what I experienced—their reputation is well-earned.

They have a comprehensive selection of treatments, including acrylic nails, gel nails, and CND Shellac. Besides nails, they also do other beauty services, such as lashes, facial treatments, and spray tans. 

When I walked into their salon, the vibe was sleek and professional, so I felt like I was in good hands right off the bat. The technician was friendly and seemed very skilled, which put me at ease. 

However, I noticed their colour selection was a bit limited compared to other places I’ve been.

The overall service was excellent, except for the cuticle treatment. I ended up with some jagged edges that were a bit annoying. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but definitely something they could improve on.

“I found Verdo Parnell through googling. I’ve had unpleasant experiences before with other similar nail places as I have eczema on my fingers which therefore makes me more sensitive / more uncomfortable and nervous about my interactions with nail artists. Verdo. Welcomed me with happy smiles and opening arms, offered me cold water on a hot sunny day and just started to catching. “Parveen is great at what she is doing. I can’t thank her enough for taking care of my mum’s toes as my mum’s toes have had many problems over the years. Unlike many busy nail firms, Parveen took enough and more time to slowly take care of it and provided tips.
