1. Floral Stylist Co.
Floral Stylist Co. is all about bringing the magic of flowers to weddings across New Zealand. They may be based in Auckland, but they’ve got their sights set on stunning locations like Queenstown. They’re even open to international projects!
When we chatted with their clients, they couldn’t stop talking about how easy it is to share their color palettes and themes with the florists. The team listens closely to what couples want while also suggesting fresh ideas to make the wedding bloom even more beautiful.
We also got to check out their portfolio. We were impressed by their customized bridal bouquets and bridesmaid flowers. Many of them also complemented the bridal party they were used to perfectly.
Another thing we love about them is they offer styling services. This helps couples source props and decorations. The clients we talked to also said the styling services allowed them to easily tie the whole wedding look together.
However, a few clients did mention that communication could use a little boost. There have been some instances of delayed responses to inquiries, which can be a bit frustrating when you’re in the thick of planning.

Even though Floralessence is an online-only store, we were still able to book an appointment and visit their office. The online setup made it super easy to browse and ask questions, but meeting in person gave us that extra level of personalized attention.
What really sets them apart is their dried flower arrangements. These can last up to five years, which is perfect for keepsakes or even being reused after the wedding. It’s such a cool idea and definitely gives them a unique edge.
When we talked to them about their offerings, they made it clear that they customize everything—from bouquets to hanging displays. We really appreciate this as it allows each couple to get something that’s truly their own.
They also handle pickup, delivery, and even setup. This means one less thing to worry about on the big day!
That said, we did hear from one client who had a delivery hiccup—the flowers went to the wrong address. It took a few calls to fix it, but they eventually got it sorted. So make sure to double-check your details if you’re working with them.

3. The Wild Bunch
My team and I stopped by The Wild Bunch recently, and the first thing we noticed was how fresh and beautifully arranged all the flowers were.
We chatted with Jo Mann, the owner, and learned she’s trained with top florists in New Zealand and Europe. Her experience is evident in the creative and unique designs all over the shop. They even do amazing floral installations for weddings!
What really made an impression, though, was how friendly and helpful the staff were. They took their time with us, helping us pick out the perfect arrangement for a friend’s wedding. It didn’t feel rushed or like we were just another sale.
Their website is easy to navigate, and the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality.
We also found their same-day delivery super convenient. But we did hear from someone who had a late delivery, so that might be something to keep in mind.

One of the researchers from my team chose Go Flowers as her florist when she got married recently, so I got to see the whole experience up close.
During the initial consultation, they really took the time to understand her vision. She wanted something unique, and they absolutely delivered with a wide range of options, from rustic dried flowers to vibrant fresh blooms!
The florists were knowledgeable and offered great suggestions, helping her pick gorgeous seasonal flowers that fit her budget.
On the wedding day, everything was flawless. Go Flowers took care of everything, from her stunning bridal bouquet to the reception centerpieces. They were also incredibly flexible, happily accommodating her last-minute ideas.
However, I’ve heard some mixed reviews from other clients. One person mentioned having an issue with refunds, saying she received minimal compensation for unsatisfactory products. It’s a shame to hear that, especially since my teammate had such a great experience.

During our visit, we got a sneak peek at some of the designs they were working on. Their floral palette is impressive, featuring popular blooms like hydrangeas, roses, and orchids. They’re all mixed together in stunning ways that scream luxury and elegance.
For example, they recently put together a gorgeous wedding setup with sandy tones and muted pinks that perfectly matched a coastal vibe.
After our visit, we reached out to some of their previous clients, and most were still thrilled with their experience. However, a few mentioned issues with their final arrangements not quite matching their expectations, even after clear communication about what they wanted.
